1. What are the different ticket options?

There are many ways to experience Ocean Festive! 

General entrance tickets cost $5 and include access to Pirate Cove (Children’s Activity Area), entertainment and activities, as well as our multiple food, drink and artisan vendors from all over Atlantic Canada!

The voucher prices vary from $4 to $24, depending on the vendor’s offering. Stop by the ticket booth to purchase your vouchers, then decide which vendor you want to try. It’s as easy as that!

Tickets for the Beach Party and the Acadian Frolic will be sold separately. These include general entrance and access to the Pirate Cove. 

Finally, Weekend Passes are sold at a reduced price and include general entrance for both Friday and Saturday, as well as entrance to the evening concerts on both nights. Quantities are limited.

2. Where is Ocean Festive located & where can I stay? 

The event takes place at the beautiful Parlee Beach Provincial Park in Shediac, New Brunswick. One of North America’s finest beaches, this park boasts the warmest salt water beach in Canada. 


Once there, follow the signs to figure out exactly where to go. Find a MAP of the area here

3. Will shuttle service be available for nearby communities?

Yes, a free shuttle bus service will leave and return to various campgrounds in Shediac and the surrounding areas.

4. What is Pirate Cove?

Pirate Cove is a Children’s Activity Area featuring many of the biggest bouncy castles in Atlantic Canada, an obstacle course prepared by the Canadian Forces, face painting, touch-a-truck, and much more.

 

5. Are there VIP packages available? 

Yes, VIP packages are available for both Friday & Saturday Night. VIP ticket holders can expect front-row views of the concerts, as well as delicious seafood dishes prepared by the one and only The Kilted Chef. VIP packages are sold per table of 8 and include many additional perks.

6. Can I bring my own chair?

Unfortunately, no personal chairs will be authorized during the concerts. However, 200 chairs will be available on the premises, on a first come, first served basis. 

 

7. Are dogs permitted on site?

Unfortunately, no dogs are allowed on the premises.

 

8. Will Ocean Festive be cancelled if it rains?

“What’s great about Ocean Festive is that everything will be set up under huge tents. You’ll be able to enjoy great entertainment and food, rain or shine!” Please note that in case of rain, Pirate Cove will be closed (including the bouncy castles and obstacle course). However, face painting will still be available. 

Sorry, no umbrellas allowed.

9. Is Ocean Festive a seafood-only festival?

No, there’s something for everyone at Ocean Festive. If you don’t love seafood, you can still visit our variety of microbreweries, wineries and distilleries from all over Atlantic Canada. Plus, non-seafood dishes and snacks are offered on site.

 

10. Can I come and go as I please during the event?

Yes, your day pass or concert tickets allow you to come and go as you please during the day. However, as soon as the concerts start at 9 pm, people leaving the premises will not be able to return.

 

11. Can I bring bags/backpacks to the event?

Yes, but for security reasons, they will be searched by authorized staff when you arrive on the premises. Alcohol is not permitted.

 

12. Is there a non-alcoholic section for the concerts?

Yes, there will be a section with liquor and one without so that people of all ages can come to the events.

 


13. Where can I park at the event?

There will be a free parking lot close to the site and another one adjacent to the site. Also, a limited number of parking spaces will be reserved for people with disabilities near the entrance.
